I'm One Proud Mom

Last Sunday, my hubby, Aniq & I rushed to Menara PJH, Putrajaya for Irdina's Concert after my 45 minutes delayed flight touching down at KLIA, airport. I was supposed to arrive at 1345 but only managed to touch down at 1420 and made my exit from the custom clearance by 1500. Luckily by the time we reached the venue, the first performance from the 4 years old class was just about to start. So we didn’t miss anything at all. Fuh!!

My mom, dad & my sister were already there. They brought Irdina over earlier since she needs to be there by 1530 as requested by the principal for all the last preps and light snack before all the kids started their performances. My mom was the one that actually did all the make up and dressed up for Irdina for her concerts. Thanks Mama..Jasamu dikenang ;) So being away from Irdina for 3 weeks, off course I was all excited to watch her made her first appearance on stage and that was during her 'Asareje' performance by her class. Wowemjie!! Once the song started hover abis anak ai dancing on stage..Sume sakit perut tahan gelak. But it was a good laugh not that we laughed because her performance was hilarious but because she really can dance. Very well I could say. We were all surprised by this. Boleh tahan jugak rupanye si Irdina nie. We had no idea she could dance like that, and ntah bila masa dia nie practice.Probbably at school.

Her 2nd performance was 'La Camisa Negra' (a spanish song sang by Aizad in one of his AF concerts) dance for another 5 years old class (she in Ant Hill class btw) She was the only selected by her teachers to perform twice for both 5 years old classes. Yg nie pun..Not bad ke'gediks'an nye....but I'm still proud of her.

But..most importantly...I was not just proud because all the performances that she got to make but because of these :

1) First, she received Best Achievement Award Academically for being the No. 1 ranked in her class

2) Second, she received Top Young Readers Award for exceeding the highest milestone in reading both English & Bahasa for 5 years old student set by Krista. Actually she exceeded even the 6 years milestone set by Krista standard.

The milestone for 5 years is 5B for English (Peter & Jane) but now she read book 9. So she exceeded even the milestone for 6 years. For Bahasa, she completed the whole set already and the teacher needs to start her with a new book called 'Saya Pandai Membaca'


Us - Reunited after 3 weeks being apart

and we had no idea about this at all. Definitely the best home coming surprise/gift that I had apart from Sambal Udang Petai and Ketam Masak Lemak Cili Padi cooked by both Mamas (my mom and my mother in law which on the hand sedap gilerrrr!!). It really warms my heart as a mother. With that...what more can I say..I'm one proud mom. Alhamdulillah…Thanks to God for this gift. As reward for her achievement we brought her to Toys R Us yesterday and she got to choose any toys of her preferences. But just 1 toy. It took her so long to finalize her decision (with some influence from Ibu & Ayah off course :P) and at last she chose this :

Since school holiday starts today, we already make plans for the kids what they need to do during this school holiday. I have enrolled Irdina to attend 2 days science Camp & another 2 days Art Camp. I'm looking for options to start her swimming class somewhere near Cyberjaya and probably a ballet class as well somewhere in Puchong. She needs to do a lot more practice in Jawi writing as well.Her Jawi writing..errr, needs a lot of improvement I could say. For Aniq, we need to start his reading practice and more book store visits to get him into speed with reading, books & school. Hopefully with some help from the BIG sista, he'll be able to blend in and have the same interest & passions like he had in cars & toys with books. Yea..Hopefully. Aminnn ;)
