Salsa Theme

I have my company's Annual Dinner to attend in few weeks time and I haven't have anything to wear yet. The theme is 'Salsa'. Apalah comittee nie gi pilih theme susah2 buat org susah nak cari baju jee especially for us yg pakai tudung nie..Guys..Any idea what I should wear yg ala2 mengikut theme and where I can find them? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Paintings

All my paintings bought in Bali dah siap di frame. Just took them yesterday then terus transport them to rumah baru. Kalau tak manaler nak simpan kat rumah skrg nie. Tak sabar nie nak gantung kat rumah but rumah tak siap renovate pun lagi. Hopefully before Raya Haji boleh siap. We plan to move a week before raya haji so boleh beraya rumah baru...Sempat ke tak sempat tak tahulah tuh.

So Hooked with Wondermilk

Last week, after a few days indulging with hospital foods tetiba teringin pulak nak makan heavy sandwiches. First I was thinking of having subway then teringat pulak my bro statement yg the best sandwiches dia penah makan is at Wondermilk. So I thought to give it a try then. We knew that Wondermilk is quite famous already with their cuppies...but sandwiches?? Hmmmm... I know some of you might been here or know this place already but well for me this is my first time okay ;)

So we went there last Friday, the day after I got discharged. Both of us took the lunch set that only available on weekdays. It was only RM12.90 for a set of sandwich or hotdog served together with chips, a coffee drink served hot or cold and a maxi wondermilk cuppy. Murahkan..If not, the sandwich itself already cost RM11.90, hot black coffee RM5 and the maxi cuppy cost RM4.50 each. I ordered for Chicken Pesto sandwich and Basya had Turkey something (tak ingat full name dia) and the taste..wallahhh...mmg heaven ;) I like mine and I like Basya's too sampai boleh 'tolong' abiskan..Kekekeke. For the cuppies, we choose Blueberry cheese and Cheesy Something (tak ingat jugak full name) and both of them are extremely delicious. The cuppies were absolutely moist, rich and flavourful! And the creams too! I love that they are bite-sized, not large like some most cupcakes are like.I must say they used fresh and quality ingredients that's why each of the maxi cupcakes sold for RM4.50 each. Skali skala oklahkan ;) I am so hooked with this place. I am so coming back & I am so going to go through all the menu. Thinking of trying the Beef Steak Sandwich pulak and other cupcake flavours. Heard that their cookies & cream cuppy is quite a hit too. Maybe next visit, I'll bring along my camera so that I could upload some real photos here for viweing but for now..I just uploaded some of the photos that I got from google. I even thinking of having my kids next birthday party here but mcm sempitlah pulak..Let see how ;)

Chicken Hand

Last weekend suddenly I feel like cooking for dinner then invite my parents dinner skali at our house. Takdelah masak apa sgt pun just some pajeri nenas & terung, ikan kering & ayam tandoori. Usually for ayam, I will save the chicken feet for my bibik since dia mmg suka makan kaki ayam and kitaorg yg lain tak makan. But then to my suprise, irdina pulak nak makan kaki ayam tuh & beriye2 dia makan. Yg kelakarnya, bila tanya irdina makan ke chicken feet tuh?? Dia boleh jawab apa tau..Ini bukan chicken feetlah Ibu, ini chicken hand.Wakakakkakakaka..satu rumah tergelak. Irdina..Irdina :P

Dah Discharge

Finally..I'm Home Sweet Home. Leganya dapat balik rumah. I'll be back to work next monday..Waduh2...liatnye nak keje balik selepas bercuti dekat 3 minggu. Sure berlambak2 email minta dibalas :( Got 3 days more to prepare mental & physical before start keje balik. Jgn sakit blkg dtg balik sudah.Doc advised me not to sit more than 30 minutes. Cane tuh?? Dah sah2 keje IT duduk depan computer buat keje & duduk lama or maybe I should request for an better ergonomic chair from HR with a support letter from my orthopedic.Hmm..Idea yg bagus gak tuh ;)

Another Back Pain Treatment

I was admitted to SSH since yesterday to receive my Epidural Steroid Injections for my back & leg pain. Tak plan pun..I had my follow up appointment with my orthopedic yesterday then due to my long symptoms of back & leg pain (I was on real pain for few days masa cuti raya until I had to go to local clinic at KB to get a voltran injection) and all the medication & physio sessions didn't seems to help me much, he advised me to opt for epidural injections. It is called an epidural injection because pain medication & streoid are injected into my epidural space of the spine (between my L4 & L5 discs). Regarding to Doc. Jamal (my orthopedic) it is often used to treat such conditions as sciatica (leg pain) or pain caused by a pinched nerve in the lumbar spine. The injection is composed of a anesthetic medicine that caused a numbing sensation as well as long lasting corticosteroid. The purpose of these medications is to reduce inflammation around the irritated nerve and flush out those chemicals causing the pain epecially my leg pain. My husband did watch the whole procedure himself and he said it was quite scary especially looking at the size of needle poked into my back. I was on local anesthetic so I all I could feel was a slight discomfort and some metal needle touching my back spine. After the procedure, mmg totally takleh bergerak at least 4 hours due to the numbness in my low back, buttocks and legs for several hours after the procedure, and pain at the injection site. Soo I just bed rest. Today I will need to start my physiotherapy again at least twice a day.Smalam ingatkan bolehlah nak discharge arini, skali takleh pulak.Nie dah masuk2 hari dah tak jumpa budak2 and I missed them so much. Sob..sob :( So peeps, please pray for my recovery and hopefully this will cure my back & leg pain problem. If not, then I might need to go for laser injection pulak. Mintak2 jgnlah ekk..Amin.

My vacation is almost over

Monday 5th Oct is fast approaching…Macam tak percaya jee..I have been on leave since the past 2 weeks and just came back from KB last Thursday.It was definitely a good break. I wanted to disconnect as much as possible from work & and focus on my family and I guess most of my missions quite accompolished except my Diet Mission. I totally screwed it and I gained almost 2 kg since after raya. Deng!!Canelah nak diet nie!! Belum campur attend open house & jamuan raya every week lagi tuh. Mau naik 2kg lagi by the end of raya.

Back to the story..Going back to the office is not something I'm looking forward to but in some ways that is a good thing since basya just accepted a job offer from my company and soon (tentatively 26th Oct) we will be working together again under the same employer. Yey!! :D Just like our good old days masa kat MRCB dulu ;) Bolehlah save sikit duit minyak, tol etc since we're moving close to cyberjaya soon. Just imagined ye, like myself now everyday I've to spend around RM25 for petrol & toll from Shah Alam - Cyberjaya - Shah Alam. That doesnt count our car milleage for service and tyres lagi (now tak sampai 2 years tayar pun dah botak). So once we moved and work together off course the lesser we need to spend for travel to work expenses and the more we could save ;)

With this entry as well, I've decided to upload a few pictures of my brother's engagement ceremony which took place on Raya ke-5 harituh.The engagement ceremony went well & everyone enjoyed the evening. Insya'allah by June next year the wedding ceremony will take place pulak. So I'll be getting another instant sister soon.Yey!! ;)
